PLEASE PRAY FOR THE ORGANIC OUTREACH TRAINING EVENTS IN ASIA and EAST AFRICA
Thank you for your interest in receiving updates on the Organic Outreach training events in Asia & East Africa. We are pleased to share the first update below.
Subject: Asia/East Africa Update #1
We landed in Nairobi late Friday evening, spent the night, and flew to Eldoret on Saturday.
Shortly after arriving at Open Arms Village outside of Eldoret (Western Kenya), we took a short trip to E10 which overlooks the Great Rift Valley. Unfortunately, the clouds did not allow us a full view, but even what was visible was spectacular. In the photo what you see is just a lower part of our side of the valley rim. Beyond that, we had just a glimpse of the far side, but there was no way to see down the precipitous drop past the rim.
On Sunday, Walt had the privilege of preaching a message on Organic Discipleship for the church at Open Arms Village which was quite well received.
Today, Monday the 11th of July, we have mostly recovered from jet lag (we are 10 hours ahead of the US west coast), we are on our way to Soy where we expect about 150 pastors for a full day of teaching on Organic Outreach for Churches. This is an entirely new group of pastors who have attended previous training events.
Thank you for all of your prayers. We have definitely seen God’s hand in traveling mercies.
Blessings,
Pastor Walt
