National Leader and Trainer
Steve Murray has been a pastor for close to two decades and he been the Lead Pastor of Lifezone Church in the city of Tauranga, in New Zealand for seven years. He leads main and breakout sessions at the annual Organic Outreach® Conferences, is an adjunct member of the Organic Outreach® Intensive Training Team, and is a certified Organic Outreach® Cohort Leader.
Lifezone is an energized and outreach-focused congregation. He is the national Organic Outreach® leader and trainer for the country of New Zealand and leads intensive training in Organic Outreach® for congregations around the country. He is also on the board of Pathways Bible College. Steve has a contagious enthusiasm for life and faith. He and his wife Carlene are parents of three daughters and one son. They serve together in ministry in the church and in their community.
Steve enjoys Mountain Biking, Surfing, and an occasional run. His other interests include reading and he is a bit of a wannabe barista.
Steve says, “My heartbeat for the church is that we would not forget the lost. I would love to be able to join the Apostle Paul in Acts 20:24 where he said ‘But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the good news about the wonderful grace of God.'”

When it comes to determining spiritual maturity we look at indicators in terms of growth, not of achievement. This self-assessment will give you a snapshot of where you are with regard to seven key markers that are important to our spiritual growth.
