Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. Social Media Login Data. We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Facebook, Twitter, or other social media account. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Information collected from other sources

In Short: We may collect limited data from public databases, marketing partners, social media platforms, and other outside sources.

In order to enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing, offers, and services to you and update our records, we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, social media platforms, and from other third parties. This information includes mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, intent data (or user behavior data), Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, social media profiles, social media URLs, and custom profiles, for purposes of targeted advertising and event promotion. If you interact with us on a social media platform using your social media account (e.g., Facebook or Twitter), we receive personal information about you such as your name, email address, and gender. Any personal information that we collect from your social media account depends on your social media account's privacy settings.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

  • Business Partners. We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions.

5. WHAT IS OUR STANCE ON THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES?

In Short: We are not responsible for the safety of any information that you share with third parties that we may link to or who advertise on our Services, but are not affiliated with, our Services.

The Services may link to third-party websites, online services, or mobile applications and/or contain advertisements from third parties that are not affiliated with us and which may link to other websites, services, or applications. Accordingly, we do not make any guarantee regarding any such third parties, and we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of such third-party websites, services, or applications. The inclusion of a link towards a third-party website, service, or application does not imply an endorsement by us. We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this privacy notice. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services, or applications that may be linked to or from the Services. 6. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

7. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

In Short: If you choose to register or log in to our Services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Facebook or Twitter logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, friends list, and profile picture, as well as other information you choose to make public on such a social media platform.

We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this privacy notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. 8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

9. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 11. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: In some regions, such as Canada , you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

In some regions (like Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; (iv) if applicable, to data portability; and (v) not to be subject to automated decision-making. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. You can make such a request by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section "HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?" below.

We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section "HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?" below.

However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Opting out of marketing and promotional communications: You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send, replying "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to the SMS messages that we send, or by contacting us using the details provided in the section "HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?" below. 12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

13. DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

Will your information be shared with anyone else?

We may use your personal information for our own business purposes, such as for undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration. This is not considered to be "selling" of your personal information.

We have not disclosed, sold, or shared any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. We will not sell or share personal information in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers.

California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Services, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Services, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from all our systems (e.g., backups, etc.).

CCPA Privacy Notice

This section applies only to California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the rights listed below.

The California Code of Regulations defines a "residents" as:

(1) every individual who is in the State of California for other than a temporary or transitory purpose and
(2) every individual who is domiciled in the State of California who is outside the State of California for a temporary or transitory purpose

All other individuals are defined as "non-residents."

If this definition of "resident" applies to you, we must adhere to certain rights and obligations regarding your personal information.

Your rights with respect to your personal data

Right to request deletion of the data — Request to delete

You can ask for the deletion of your personal information. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, such as (but not limited to) the exercise by another consumer of his or her right to free speech, our compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation, or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities.

Right to be informed — Request to know

Depending on the circumstances, you have a right to know:
  • whether we collect and use your personal information;
  • the categories of personal information that we collect;
  • the purposes for which the collected personal information is used;
  • whether we sell or share personal information to third parties;
  • the categories of personal information that we sold, shared, or disclosed for a business purpose;
  • the categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold, shared, or disclosed for a business purpose;
  • the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information; and
  • the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
In accordance with applicable law, we are not obligated to provide or delete consumer information that is de-identified in response to a consumer request or to re-identify individual data to verify a consumer request.

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of a Consumer’s Privacy Rights

We will not discriminate against you if you exercise your privacy rights.

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

We do not process consumer's sensitive personal information.

Verification process

Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g., phone or email) that you have previously provided to us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate.

We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. However, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you.

Other privacy rights
  • You may object to the processing of your personal information.
  • You may request correction of your personal data if it is incorrect or no longer relevant, or ask to restrict the processing of the information.
  • You can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf in accordance with the CCPA.
  • You may request to opt out from future selling or sharing of your personal information to third parties. Upon receiving an opt-out request, we will act upon the request as soon as feasibly possible, but no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of the request submission.

Verification process

Kevin Harney is the President and Founder of Organic Outreach International®. He also serves as the Lead Pastor at Shoreline Church in Monterey, California. Through writing, speaking, and coaching, Kevin loves to serve denominations, Christian movements, and local churches both nationally and internationally. Kevin and Sherry have written the Organic Outreach® series of books. They have also published many other books and small group studies in partnership with other Christian leaders. Kevin and Sherry have been married for nearly 40 years and have three adult sons and three daughters-in-law: Zach & Christine, Josh & Taylor, and Nate & Brynne. They also have five grandchildren. Kevin is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University (B.A.), Fuller Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), and Western Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry). In warm weather, he loves to unwind by walking on the golf course with friends. When he can get near snow and a decent hill, Kevin loves to snowboard.

Executive Director

Walt Bennett is the Executive Director of Organic Outreach International®. Walt has enjoyed a broad career path including roles as a chef, submariner, woodworker, physics teacher, insurance company executive, and a nationally certified EMT. He left the corporate world to launch Organic Outreach International in 2016. Walt received a B.S. in Math, Engineering, Physics, and Psychology from Regents College and an MA in Teaching from Seattle Pacific University. He feels blessed to be in a position where he can bring all of his past experiences to bear in growing God’s kingdom. In his free time, Walt enjoys golf, kayaking, cooking for friends and family, and crossword puzzles. Walt and his wife Liz have three children: Will attends Georgia Tech, Hannah lives and works in Seattle, and Stefan lives in Seattle with his wife Katie.

sherry Harney

Co-Founder

Sherry Harney is the co-founder of Organic Outreach International and does teaching and training in the U.S. and internationally. She teaches and trains in all aspects of Organic Outreach® and has a deep passion for evangelism in and through the family. Sherry helped develop the content for the Organic Outreach® series of books and co-wrote Organic Outreach® for Families and Organic Disciples. She also serves as the Director of Spiritual Development at Shoreline Church. Sherry graduated from Calvin College with a degree in education and special education. She received a Masters of Theology with an emphasis in Christian Formation and Discipleship from Fuller Theological Seminary. She speaks for local, national, and international women’s groups and events. In addition, she has a writing ministry in partnership with Zondervan, Baker, and Thomas Nelson Publishing. Sherry has written or co-written many small group study guides. She and Kevin have been married for nearly 40 years and have three adult sons and three daughters-in-law: Zach & Christine, Josh & Taylor, and Nate & Brynne. They also have five grandchildren. robin maguire

Director of Communications and Teacher

Robin Maguire is the Director of Communications and a teacher for Organic Outreach International®. Prior to joining the Organic Outreach International® team, Robin enjoyed a career in marketing communications before serving as a Regional Developer for MOPS International and Area Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child. Robin holds a degree in Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University. In her role on the Organic Outreach International® team, Robin develops and facilitates OOI’s communication and marketing strategies, oversees the administration of the OOI online learning platform, and manages the logistics coordination for OOI’s conferences and training events. Robin and her husband Ken have three sons, two daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandbabies.

Director of Development
and Partner Relations

Blake Kelly is the Director of Development and Partner Relations for Organic Outreach International®.  Blake directs and facilitates OOI’s participation, partnerships, and involvement with individuals, churches, denominations, movements, and para-church ministries in order to help them infuse the DNA of their ministries with a passion for natural evangelism.  Blake earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from WTAMU in 2018. In addition to his love for the outdoors and adventure sports such as climbing or backpacking, Blake has a passion for Biblical literacy and teaching. With his background in business administration and relationship management, he supports the Organic Outreach mission to reach the Church around the globe with the culture changing dynamics of natural evangelism training. Blake and his sweet wife, Lora, live in Canyon, Texas and are expecting their first child! 

Erika Atkins

Administrative Assistant

Erika Atkins is the Administrative Assistant for Organic Outreach International®. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Language and Education from Universidade do Grande Rio, in Brazil, and has continued her studies in the UK and Ireland.  She has served in a variety of administrative roles, most notably as a bilingual executive assistant to corporate presidents. Erika was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She lived in four different countries in Europe before moving to the United States. Erika was ten years old when she first heard about Jesus and God’s boundless love for us and fell absolutely in love with her Heavenly Father. She has the benefit of having a childlike heart, which makes the spreading of God’s love flow naturally.

Tom Green

Trainer and Coach

Tom Green is a trainer and coach for Organic Outreach International®, primarily working with Outreach Influence Leaders all over the world. He is also a pastor at Shoreline Community Church in Monterey, California. He has experience in church planting, has led high school ministry, and previously served as a young adult pastor. Tom infuses the vision of reaching outside of the church walls by using the Organic Outreach® strategy to make sure that God’s heart for reaching the lost is part of everything we do as a church. He and his wife Jill have been married for 45 years and have sought to bring the love of Jesus to many parts of the world. With extensive ministry in India, they have started an orphanage in the city of Agra and Tom has traveled to the Northern part of the country on 15 occasions. They have also done ministry in parts of Europe, Africa, Mexico, the Republic of Georgia, and Ukraine. Their two children, Robby and Rebekah, are both married and have joined them in missions. Tom and Jill very much enjoy time with their kids and their 6 grandchildren and the family enjoys mountain biking, motocross, and just being together.

Lisa Marie Griggs

Prayer and Encouragement Team Leader

Lisa Marie Griggs is the Prayer and Encouragement Team Leader for Organic Outreach International®.  Lisa has loved growing in the Word and mentoring women through various women’s ministries. She has a deep appreciation for drawing closer to God through prayer. She has started or served on various prayer teams and currently also leads a parent prayer group at her daughters’ school.  

Born and raised in Southern California, Lisa has called Monterey, CA, home since 2005. She and her husband, Ken, enjoy raising (and being continually entertained by) their two daughters, Viviana and Angelina. Her favorite activities are reading, sharing what she has learned in scripture to anyone who will stop and listen, singing, hiking, and spending time with her family exploring new shops, restaurants (especially Italian food), and parks on day trips.

Loriana Sekarski

Advisor on Leadership Strategies and Training

Loriana Sekarski is an advisor on leadership strategies and training for Organic Outreach International®. She is also founder and president of BONSAI, a coaching and consulting company that helps leaders and organizations bear their best fruit. As a leadership coach, Loriana teaches her clients how to use their God-given strengths to lead and cultivate engaged teams. Her interest in workplace engagement and sustaining cultural changes began in her thesis work at MIT, and she has spent 30 years working with leaders in many businesses and universities. She now focuses more on working with leaders in churches and ministries.

Loriana loves helping people lead and live with authenticity, in alignment with their Gallup strengths, spiritual gifts, and calling — whether they are in ministry or business. Loriana enjoys the outdoors and staying active, especially cycling, hiking, writing, painting, and exploring Iowa, their home state since 2020. Patrick Sekarksi

Chief Solutions Officer and
Advisor on Leadership Strategies

Patrick Sekarksi provides insights for solution development for Organic Outreach International®. He is the Chief Solutions Officer and a leadership coach for BONSAI, a coaching and consulting company that helps leaders and organizations bear their best fruit. Patrick is a Gallup-certified coach who provides a faith-based perspective in his coaching sessions with new leaders and mid-level supervisors. Prior to BONSAI, he was a clinical pharmacist for 30 years, where he spent much of this time developing and coaching medical students, residents, and administrators while also pursuing his passion to serve veterans.

Patrick is passionate about the church’s role in culture and helping individuals align their lives with Biblical priorities. He and his wife, Loriana, are active at Third Church in Pella, Iowa. Sudhir Mekala

National Leader and Trainer

Sudhir Mekala is the national Organic Outreach® leader and trainer for Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is also an adjunct member of the Organic Outreach® Intensive Training Team in India, and is a certified Organic Outreach® Cohort Leader.

He has been a pastor and a church planter for close to two decades. He has served as the Lead Pastor of Spirit of Christ Community Church in the outskirts of the city of Visakhapatnam, in India for twelve years. He also is the president for the non-profit Charitas Foundation, which serves orphaned and destitute children, by housing, feeding, clothing and providing them with quality Christian centered education.

His ministry focus is the unreached places in the rural and tribal regions of India. Started his ministry in the year 2002 as a church planter in the Eastern Mountain Ghats (Ranges), the home for 99 tribal groups, where He still works collaborating with pastors that have come out of his church plants. He is an energized and outreach-focused person. He and his wife Usha are parents of two daughters (Amy & Anna). They serve together in ministry, along with Sudhir’s older brother Subhakar and his family, continuing the ministry started by their parents Devadas & Sarojini Mekala.

Sudhir cherishes helping pastors get better equipped in the art of Pastoral Ministry. He also enjoys Cricket & team sports. His other interests include reading, photography, and learning new skills.

Sudhir’s inspiration draws from the book of Romans 15:20-21 in which Paul says, “Accordingly I set a goal to preach the Gospel, not where Christ’s name was already known, so that I would not build on another man’s foundation; but [instead I would act on this goal] as it is written [in Scripture], “They who had no news of Him shall see, And they who have not heard [of Him] shall understand.”” (Amplified)

Jayakumar Garnipudi

National Leader and Trainer

Jayakumar Garnipudi is the national Organic Outreach® leader and trainer for Hyderabad, Telangana, India.  He is also an adjunct member of the Organic Outreach® Intensive Training team in India.

He has been a pastor for 25 years and currently leads Real India Church in Hyderabad, along with his wife and two children who serve with him in ministry.  Jayakumar is also the CEO for Real India Ministries in Hyderabad.  Real India Ministries works inter-denominationally with other churches and Christian organizations who share a heart for the people of India.  By ministering to their physical needs and showing love to the people in rural areas, they are also able to share the Gospel with them. Now these individuals can share their love for God with others in their community!

Che ko

National Leader

Che Ko is the national Organic Outreach® leader for Myanmar, is an adjunct member of the Organic Outreach® Intensive Training Team, and is a certified Organic Outreach® Cohort Leader.  

He is the Associate Pastor of People’s Evangelical Church, Yangon, Myanmar. He is also a member of the Board of Church Planting Institute, as well as a faculty member, and Bible School Teacher. Che Ko is mostly focused on directing missions, and church planting among the Buddhist community.

Currently, he has been supervising over ten regional church planters. His passion is exploring the many ways that God’s word may be heard and reached to unbelievers (particularly Buddhists). His heart is to impact all Christians to involve them in the Great Commission of our Lord Christ Jesus.

Che Ko is from a very small village in northern part of Myanmar. God called him at the age 20 to move to the Yangon Region, in the southern part of Myanmar where most of the people are Buddhists. He, his wife, and their two children have been reaching their community for Christ Jesus since 2008.

steve murray

National Leader and Trainer

Steve Murray has been a pastor for close to two decades and he been the Lead Pastor of Lifezone Church in the city of Tauranga, in New Zealand for seven years. He leads main and breakout sessions at the annual Organic Outreach® Conferences, is an adjunct member of the Organic Outreach® Intensive Training Team, and is a certified Organic Outreach® Cohort Leader.

Lifezone is an energized and outreach-focused congregation. He is the national Organic Outreach® leader and trainer for the country of New Zealand and leads intensive training in Organic Outreach® for congregations around the country. He is also on the board of Pathways Bible College. Steve has a contagious enthusiasm for life and faith. He and his wife Carlene are parents of three daughters and one son. They serve together in ministry in the church and in their community.

Steve enjoys Mountain Biking, Surfing, and an occasional run. His other interests include reading and he is a bit of a wannabe barista.

Steve says, “My heartbeat for the church is that we would not forget the lost. I would love to be able to join the Apostle Paul in Acts 20:24 where he said ‘But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the good news about the wonderful grace of God.'”

Bishop Peter Simwa

Coordinator in Kenya

Bishop Peter Simwa is the Organic Outreach® Coordinator in Kenya, leading and organizing training events in the region. He also leads three Organic Outreach® cohorts in Soy and Eldoret. Peter is the lead pastor of Higher Vision Church in Eldoret, Kenya.  He loves to coordinate leadership conferences, training, and outreach missions, especially in Muslim-dominated areas.  Peter and his wife Caroline have been married for 23 years, have 4 children, and 30 adopted children who live at their children’s home.  Peter is passionate about outreach and discipleship.  He loves soccer and Gospel music.

Bishop Andrew Mutengu

Coordinator in Uganda

Bishop Andrew Mutengu is the Organic Outreach® Coordinator in Uganda.  He is the founder of Word of Faith ministries and an international speaker and teacher.  He holds a Master’s in Divinity and is the former resident pastor for Living Water Ministries.  Bishop Mutengu serves as Chairperson of the Pastors’ Fellowship in Mbale and as a mediator in the Uganda High Court Mbale branch, where he is also the department head.  He and his wife, Judith, have five sons: Isaac, Joshua, Joel, Ian, and Aaron.
